In a new role as documentary makers they introduce everyone to Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. Because in their opinion the music of these legends should be passed on from generation to generation. But who are Simon & Garfunkel anyway?

Paul Simon was born in 1941 in Newark - New Jersey. His grandparents were Hungarian-Jewish immigrants who had come to America at the beginning of the 20th century to build a better life. After the birth of Paul's brother Eddie four years younger, the family moved to Kew Gardens in Queens.

Art Garfunkel was also born in 1941, in Queens - New York. When he was four he was first confronted with music. The first tape recorder came into the Garfunkel house.
