Ter ere van het 50-jarig jubileum van Ace Records, verschijnt deze verzameling van de platen die het fundament legden voor Chiswick Records. De onafhankelijke platenmaatschappij werd in 1975 opgericht door Ted Carroll en groeide uit tot een belangrijk label. Samen met Roger Armstrong en Trevor Churchill was Chiswick op het juiste moment op de juiste plaats. Ze brachten singles uit van artiesten die zich bewogen in pub rock, punk, metal, pop en rockabilly, zoals The 101’ers, Motörhead en The Gorillas. De platenmaatschappij schreef in zeven jaar tijd een belangrijk hoofdstuk in de Britse muziekgeschiedenis, dat op deze verzamelaar wordt gevierd.
