Pianist en arrangeur Bob Baldwin werd in de jaren zestig gegrepen door de 'Beatles Bug' die de Verenigde Staten overspoelde. Deze fascinatie voor de Britse invasie is de basis voor het album Presents Abbey Road and the Beatles. Baldwin geeft hierop tien aanstekelijke Beatles-klassiekers een volledig eigen, instrumentale jazz-invulling. Hij transformeert de bekende melodieën met zijn virtuoze pianospel en wordt hierbij ondersteund door een reeks gerenommeerde gastmuzikanten.
