Het collectief Africa Express, mede-opgericht door Damon Albarn, staat bekend om het samenbrengen van muzikanten uit verschillende culturen en genres. Dit album, Africa Express Presents... Bahidora, is het resultaat van een unieke, vijfdaagse muzikale ontmoeting in Mexico. Opgenomen tijdens het Bahidorá festival in het natuurpark Las Estacas, creëerden artiesten uit Afrika, Mexico en Europa samen een compleet nieuw werk. De spontaniteit en creatieve energie van deze sessies zijn gevangen op deze plaat, die een sonische brug slaat tussen continenten.

• Met bijdragen van o.a. Bonobo, Fatoumata Diawara, Graham Coxon, La Bruja de Texcoco en Onipa.
