De Finse band Demilich heeft sinds begin jaren negentig een onuitwisbare stempel gedrukt op de underground metalscene. De groep staat bekend om hun extreem technische en dissonante death metal, die destijds zijn tijd ver vooruit was. Kenmerkend zijn de ultralage, bijna onverstaanbare gutturale vocalen van frontman Antti Boman en de complexe, kronkelende gitaarriffs. Hun invloed op latere generaties technische en avant-garde metalbands is enorm. Deze uitgave bundelt het vroege en zeldzame demomateriaal dat de weg plaveide voor hun legendarische album Nespithe.

Dit album valt in het genre Death Metal, met duidelijke invloeden uit Technical Death Metal en Avant-garde Metal. De muziek kenmerkt zich door een onconventionele en vervreemdende sfeer, vergelijkbaar met het werk van pioniers als Gorguts en Adramalech.
